Orange council seeks EOI for prime CBD site

NSW

Orange City Council has engaged an advisory firm to seek Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a prime development site in the Orange CBD.

The site is 73a Hill Street, Orange (Lot 1 DP 504201), which currently houses the Orange Regional Conservatorium, one block away from the main thoroughfare of Summer Street to the South and Byng Street to the North.

“The opportunity has substantial scope to capitalise on the city’s growing housing market in an ideal location. With a limited supply of centrally located premium medium-density developments and a growing proportion of retirees, families and property investors, this unique development opportunity is not to be missed,” Council said in a statement.

“Council is seeking EOIs to purchase and develop the site, with the aim to increase the availability of quality medium density dwellings in the Orange CBD, and enhance and compliment the built environment within the surrounding area.”

Council has engaged JPAbusiness Pty Ltd to manage the Expressions of Interest (EOI) process on its behalf.

The formal Expression of Interest process commenced on 11 July and closes on Tuesday 8 August 2023.

For more information about the opportunity, including an Information Memorandum and EOI requirements please contact JPAbusiness’ Managing Director James Price on 0439 601 207, or alternatively, you can send an inquiry email to james@jpabusiness.com.au.

Expressions of Interest can be submitted via Tenderlink.
