The Shire of Murray Council has confirmed its elected members for the next four years following the 2025 Local Government Election on Saturday.
Elected Council Members are:
- Prue George
- Stuart Kirkham
- Rob Cashman
- Stewart Carter
- Geoff Black (two-year term)
Following the swearing in ceremony, the full Council will comprise: - Shire President, Douglas McLarty
- Cr Ange Rogers
- Cr Prue George
- Cr Stuart Kirkham
- Cr Rob Cashman
- Cr Stewart Carter
- Cr Geoff Black
- Cr Steve Lee
- Cr Nicole Willis
The terms of current Councillors Ange Rogers, Steve Lee, and Nicole Willis will expire in 2027.
The Shire will retain its current Shire President, with Douglas McLarty elected unopposed.
A swearing in ceremony will be held at the Ordinary Council Meeting at 5:30pm on Thursday 23 October at the Shire of Murray Administration Building. The Deputy President will be elected by Council during this meeting.
