Irrigation Australia will host its National Conference and Exhibition from 2-4 September, at the ICC Sydney.
The event is combined with the 9th Asian Regional Conference for the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage.
The event is aimed at local government staff involved in managing irrigated open spaces such as parks, gardens and sports facilities.
The exhibition is a showcase of more than 70 individual exhibitors with the most modern irrigation and related equipment on display at no cost to attend.
The workshop program includes a free training opportunity with the Water Services Association of Australia and Water Conservancy. The session aims to improve processes to get the most out of our most precious resource.
Program highlight: Transform your irrigation skills and join us for some official Irrigation Australia training, based on the accredited unit AHCIRG346 – Operate pressurised irrigation systems.
The session will cover everything from application rates, energy efficiency benchmarks, performance monitoring, system inspection and troubleshooting. Our practical component of the training will demonstrate how to correctly identify different soil structures and their moisture-holding capabilities. We will also showcase the latest in sensor technology and how we can use these sensors in effective irrigation scheduling.
Perfect for anyone looking to advance their knowledge in irrigation technology, this course provides the foundation skills required to effectively operate an irrigation system.
Successful completion of the course will give participants a certificate of attendance that may be used as “Recognised prior learning” for the unit.
Register today to attend the conference and social program for a great mix of Australian and International speakers.
