Kiama Municipal Council will officially open the doors to its new dedicated Planning and Development Hub at the Old Bank Building on Manning Street Kiama today.
Mayor, Cameron McDonald said the Council was excited to offer the new and dedicated service to the local community.
“Planning and the various development application process are a key component of Council’s business and one that our community has the greatest interaction with. Our passionate staff are here to help with any planning, development, or other Council-related enquiry you may have,” Cr McDonald said.
From today, the Planning Hub at 32 Manning Street will offer a duty planner service from 9 to 11am daily. The new service will compliment Council’s existing Development Advice services.
Also from 7 July, the Planning Hub will be open daily for community members to make appointments with Council planners for advice and guidance outside of these hours.
