Goulburn Mulwaree Council last night recognised the service of Councillors Alfie Walker, Denzil Sturgiss and Sam Rowland.
The three Councillors, who are not standing for re-election at the 4 December poll, were formally recognised for their community service and presented with plaques as a keepsake by General Manager, Warwick Bennett.
“Alfie, Denzil and Sam have been wonderful advocates for our region, giving up countless hours in community service, and I would like to thank them on behalf of Goulburn Mulwaree Council” said Mr Bennett.
“The role of a Councillor can be a thankless task at times, and you must listen to the views of wide ranging community members before making difficult decisions. These three have acted with integrity and intelligence during their service, and I wish them all the best in the future.”
