Applications for the 2026 round of the Australian Government’s Active Transport Fund (ATF) are due to close at 5pm (AEST) on Wednesday 30 September.
The ATF Program provides funding for the upgrade of existing, and construction of new, bicycle and walking pathways across Australia.
The program has three objectives:
- road safety
- reducing transport emissions
- active and liveable communities.
It is an ongoing, application-based, merit-assessed, funding program, open to all state and territory governments and Local Government Authorities (LGAs).
