City of Busselton Councillor, Richard Beecroft, has resigned from his role with the organisation, effective immediately.
Cr Beecroft was first elected to Council in early 2024, following the departure of Councillor Sue Riccelli.
His departure will result in his position being vacant until the next local government election in October 2025, where the remaining two years of his term will be filled, the Council said in a statement.
“Objectives outlined in this statement are aligned with the City of Busselton’s Council Plan (2024 – 2034) Key Theme Leadership – We actively engage with community to deliver visionary, collaborative and accountable leadership,” the Council stated.
