Big win for Little Olly’s

VICTORIA

Frankston City Council has announced a trio of food vendors for the popular Olivers Hill Boat Ramp.

Council says the ramp will now be home to food and beverage operators – Mercetta, Little Olly’s and Cripps Fish & Chips.

“This decision follows a highly engaging and collaborative meeting with all three operators,
the CEO and Mayor of Frankston City Council, who have all committed to working together
to bring an expanded offering to our community,” Council said in a statement.

“Mercetta, the successful applicant of the recent Expression of Interest process, is fully
supportive of this initiative.”

Council has also confirmed no boat parking will be lost as part of the changes.

Cripps Fish & Chips will return on 12 October; Little Olly’s will remain in their current
spot; Mercetta will commence by December, Council said.

Little Olly’s was first granted a permit to operate in 2019 but was told recently that it would not be renewed by Council.

The decision prompted a strong response from the local community, with a petition against the move receiving close to 8,500 signatures in just 48 hours.
