Goulburn Mulwaree Council has launched a new quarterly community newsletter, designed to keep residents informed about Council projects, services, initiatives and important local updates.
The Council said each edition of the newsletter will be delivered to all residential mailbox and PO Box across the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Government Area, commencing the week of 31 August.
Mayor, Nina Dillon said the newsletter will provide an additional way for Council to engage with residents and share information that matters to the community.
“Strong communication helps build stronger communities. This new newsletter will ensure residents have easy access to information about Council programs, major projects, services and opportunities to have their say on local issues. We want our community to feel informed, connected and involved in shaping the future of Goulburn Mulwaree,” Mayor Dillon said.
Each edition will feature updates from across Council, including key projects, community initiatives, service information and upcoming opportunities for community engagement.
The first newsletter includes details about village outreach drop-in sessions, how to lodge service requests, Council’s corporate documents, budget allocations and Council meeting schedules.
Residents are encouraged to read the publication and stay connected with what’s happening across the region, said the Mayor.
