Upper Lachlan Council has announced its leadership duo for the next 12 months.
Mayor, Pam Kensit and Deputy Mayor, Councillor Mandy McDonald were returned to their positions unopposed at today’s meeting.
Upper Lachlan is located on the NSW Southern Tablelands about 45km west of Goulburn, 100km north of Canberra and about 130km south-east of Bathurst. It is an area that is known for its fine wool and potato production, history and picturesque countryside.
The Upper Lachlan Local Government Area has a population of 8,419 (ABS Census 2021) and includes the areas of Bigga, Binda, Collector, Crookwell, Dalton, Grabben Gullen, Gunning, Laggan, Taralga and Tuena.
