Shellharbour City Council has re-elected Councillor, Kellie Marsh, as Deputy Mayor following a resolution at last night’s Ordinary Council Meeting.
First elected to Council in 2011, Councillor Marsh (pictured) has served the Shellharbour community for more than 15 years and has held the position of Deputy Mayor since 2021.
Mayor, Chris Homer congratulated Councillor Marsh on her re-election.
“I congratulate Councillor Marsh on her re-election as Deputy Mayor, over the past five years, Councillor Marsh has made a valuable contribution as Deputy Mayor, supporting Council and representing our community with dedication and professionalism,” he said.
“Her experience, leadership and commitment to the people of Shellharbour make her a highly respected member of our Council team, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside her as we deliver positive outcomes for our city.”
Councillor Marsh said she was honoured to continue serving the community as Deputy Mayor.
“I am grateful for the confidence my fellow Councillors have shown in me and honoured to continue serving as Deputy Mayor of Shellharbour,” she said.
