Moyne Shire Councillor, Jim Doukas, has notified the Council of his intention to nominate as a candidate for the upcoming Victorian state election.
“In line with the Councillors as Candidates in a State or Federal Election Policy adopted on
September 6, 2022, Cr Doukas is now on a leave of absence until after the election period,” Moyne Shire Mayor, Karen Foster and Chief Executive Officer, Brett Davis said in a statement.
Cr Doukas was first elected to Council in March 2002 and was Mayor between December 2010 and November 2013.
