Logan Mayor’s charity gala returns after 8-year hiatus

City of Logan Council’s Mayor’s Charity Gala is making a return, with the event to be held in the city this year for the first time since 2018.

City of Logan Charitable Trust (CoLCT) Deputy Chair, Mayoress Ali Raven, said the return of the Mayor’s Charity Gala was another important step in the Trust supporting people in the Logan community

“We’re thrilled to bring this iconic event back to Logan,” Mayoress, Ali Raven said.

The Beenleigh Events Centre is set to be transformed into an enchanted garden, complete with colour, light and a touch of magic for the gala.

Guests will enjoy a premium three-course dining experience, beverage package, live entertainment, inspiring guest speakers and exciting fundraising activities and prizes throughout the evening.

CoLCT Chair, Dr John Gilmour said the Mayor’s Charity Gala would bring the community together for a shared purpose – supporting those who need it most.

“As the City of Logan Charitable Trust continues to grow, this event will help strengthen our connection with the community and raise essential funds that can be directed back into charities that improve lives across Logan,” Dr Gilmour said.
