Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking expressions of interest from a wide range of businesses capable of working on future projects.
Businesses are being invited to participate in two panels; the Building Schedule of Rates Panel and the Consulting Services Panel.
For the Building Schedule of Rates Panel, the Council is seeking preferred contractors in various trades to carry out work on Council construction projects. According to the tender documents, a list of preferred contractors will be based on ‘best value for money’ as outlined in the evaluation criteria.
A wide range of businesses is also being sought for inclusion on the Consulting Services Panel.
This panel will provide Council with a list of preferred providers offering services ranging from engineering and landscape architecture through to specialised consultancies in accessibility and ecology.
Businesses chosen for both panels as preferred contractors will be listed for a three year period, with an option to extend by one or two years.
Mayor, Sam Ngai said the Council was interested in hearing from businesses based in Ku-ring-gai, as part of the Council’s aim to support the local economy.
“I’d encourage local businesses to register on the portal and put in an expression of interest for one or both panels,” he said.
Both panels are open from 24 September until 25 October. To be considered businesses must complete the tender documents which can be downloaded from portal.tenderlink.com/kmc.
