Kia Niro Hybrid technology smartly enhances the driving experience

The Niro Hybrid provides modern sophistication across the range, featuring a flush-integrated infotainment system and slim horizontal chrome air vents which are complimented by the satin silver feature strip spanning the width of the car.

Kia Australia’s General Manager of Fleet, Chris Forbes, said that technology, comfort and convenience are all achieved while reducing emissions.

“The Niro Hybrid fits quite well into the Kia range and features some of our latest technology advancements,” said Forbes.

“The next step is when these technologies are then used in different conditions as a daily driver. This is when technology truly becomes vital to the driving experience and compliments comfort and convenience, all while reducing emissions and WOL costs.”

Technology highlights include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless/wired Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth multi-connection functionality, AM/FM tuner with Digital radio and six-speaker sound system, 4.2-inch supervision driver’s instrument cluster and drive mode select for Eco/Sport.

Comfort and convenience features are abundant on S variants with partial cloth and leather seats (eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and six-way passenger seat adjustment including height), keyless entry, electric powered and folding mirrors, rear parking sensors, rear view camera with dynamic guidelines, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, Dual Zone climate control and leather steering wheel.

Stepping up to the Sport model will add LED headlights, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with inbuilt navigation, paddle shifters, premium seats, alloy sports pedals, auto up and down front windows and an electro chromatic rear-view mirror.
