Griffith council gets Bookable

NSW

Griffith City Council has announced the launch of its new online booking platform, ‘Bookable’.

Bookable allows people to book one of Council’s 22 available venues quickly and easily online.

The new platform, which can be found at griffith.bookable.net.au, features a user-friendly design with easy browsing to help the end user explore all the Council venues available for their activity.

Griffith Mayor, Doug Curran said the new system offers an improved user-experience for anyone wanting to book one of Council’s many spaces for their next event.

“The Bookable system has been specifically designed for Local Government and means users will have an identical experience booking any Council venue, whether it’s a study room in the Library or the Community Gardens for a large public event,” said Mayor Curran.

“Each venue consists of images, descriptions and attributes. Users can easily view what features are available at each venue such as accessibility, car parking, amenities and WiFi. It’s like online grocery shopping, and the user just needs to pick their desired venue, date, time and purpose with the added benefit of online payment.”

To use Bookable, users first create a customer account, either as an individual or organisation, then begin their booking. Once registered, customers can view and modify bookings, make payments online and update their details.
