City of Greater Bendigo Council is inviting local organisations who are passionate about helping the community to consider applying for a Partnering for Impact Grant.
Council Manager Community Partnerships, Andie West said that through the City’s Partnering for Impact Grant, organisations can apply for up to $75,000 over three financial years (a maximum of $25,000 in each financial year) to undertake activities that will help in the achievement of Greater Bendigo Council Plan 2021-2025 or Healthy Greater Bendigo 2021/2025 objectives.
“The City is asking interested organisations to make contact before starting an application,” Ms West said.
As the funding being offered through the Partnering for Impact Grants is significant, the application, assessment and return for investment requirements will also be significant, said Ms West.
Council wants to ensure that organisations are well informed of these requirements before they make any decision to go ahead, she said.
“The City recently reviewed its Community Grants Program. One of the key pieces of feedback received was that pre-application discussions are really important and valued. They help organisations to check for grant eligibility for the likelihood of grant application success before they go to the effort of working on an application.
“Staff are also available to help with any questions that might arise while working on an application,” said Ms West.
The Partnering for Impact Grants open on Thursday August 31, and close on Thursday September 28. For more information, email grants@bendigo.vic.gov.au.
