Businesswomen across the Murrumbidgee Council area will have the opportunity to network and gain a valuable insight into business and personal development at the upcoming Women’s Week event.
The free Networking Evening will be held on Tuesday 7 March at the Punt Hotel in Darlington Point, commencing at 6.30pm.
Guest speakers, listed below, will offer practical, hands-on information to assist women to achieve their personal and career goals:
- Faith Rogers – Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) – Stress Management and Decision Making for Successful Businesses;
- Steph Girdwood – Outreach Speech Pathology;
- Julia O’Connell – Crops & Sequins Styling.
Murrumbidgee Council Mayor, Ruth McRae said Council was continually seeing incredible women who make an invaluable contribution to their business, their family and their community across the region.
“A strong community spirit and passion is the fabric of our community, and women are at epicentre of this; on the land, in retail, and driving other business ventures,” the Mayor said.
“Women’s Week, and this networking event, provides the chance to highlight these achievements and allow others to learn from and be inspired,” she said.
A free shuttle bus for the event is available from Coleambally and Jerilderie.
