City of Coffs Harbour Council General Manager, Natalia Cowley, has tendered her resignation.
Mayor, Nikki Williams said the organisation sincerely appreciated Ms Cowley’s 2.5 years of dedicated service to the Council.
She said Ms Cowley (pictured) had led the implementation and delivery of a number of significant programs and projects over her time as General Manager, including structural change to deliver balanced City finances; a significantly reduced vacancy rate; a sustainable capital works program with improved governance; successful construction of Yarrila Place under budget; the development of the Coffs Harbour Economic Development Strategy and associated Investment Prospectus; a new name and logo for the City of Coffs Harbour; the profitable commercial activities of Council including the Coffs Coast Holiday Parks, Coastal Works and Coffs Harbour Laboratory.
Ms Cowley wished Council all the best in leading a strong and financially secure City for the future of the community.
In a statement, the Council said the position of Acting General Manager would be undertaken by Director City Infrastructure, Andrew Beswick, to ensure a smooth transition until a new General Manager is recruited.
