City of Ryde to upgrade 200 bus shelters in new media deal

City of Ryde Council is set to replace and upgrade 200 existing bus shelters in Sydney’s northern suburbs as part of a renewed contract with media company, oOh!media.

In addition to the upgrades, oOh! will also digitise around 65 advertising assets across the municipality.

“This contract also cements our position as the clear Out of Home leader in Australian street furniture. We have demonstrated this by increasing our footprint, despite the pandemic’s impact, installing new and upgraded assets across numerous local government areas consistently throughout the year,” said oOh!media CEO, Cathy O’Connor.

City of Ryde chief executive officer, Wayne Rylands, added: “Ryde is a growing city and an exciting place for companies to invest and advertise. We are really pleased to be renewing our contract and partnering once again with oOh!media.”
