Benalla Rural City Council Chief Executive Officer, Dom Testoni, has announced his decision to step down from the position to take up the role of Director of Assets and Operations at Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
Mr Testoni expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Benalla community, reflecting on his time with the Council and the support of staff, Councillors and community members.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Benalla Rural City Council, but the time has come for my family and I to move on,” Mr Testoni said.
“It’s been a privilege to work with such a committed team and to be a part of a community that deeply values progress and connection.”
The Council will soon begin the process of appointing a new CEO.
“Council looks forward to identifying a leader who will build on Mr Testoni’s work and continue to advance the needs and aspirations of the Benalla community,” it said in a statement.
“Benalla Rural City Council extends its sincere thanks to Mr Testoni for his dedication and wishes him every success in his new role. His leadership and vision will be missed, and we look forward to his continued positive impact in the broader region.”
Mr Testoni will depart the CEO role in January next year.
