The successful candidates were sworn in at a Special Meeting of Council in the City’s Council Chambers today.

“I congratulate and welcome the successful candidates and on behalf of the City, we look forward to working closely and collaboratively to achieve our vision of a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive Melville,” said re-elected Mayor, Katy Mair.
“I’d like to thank outgoing Councillors Terry Lee and Jane Edinger for their dedicated service to the community and wish them all the best for the future.
“Councillor Edinger served as a Councillor for the Bicton-Attadale-Alfred Cove Ward from 2021 to 2025 and did not recontest her seat, while Councillor Terry Lee served as Councillor in the Central Ward from 2023 to 2025.”
