Kempsey Shire Council has today reported that a much-loved local Ghost Gum at Hat Head has been poisoned.
In a brief statement, the Council said the tree on Oak Street at Hat Head had “signs of being illegally poisoned”.
“Council is monitoring the health of the tree and is investigating the incident,” it said.
