Shoalhaven City Council has re-elected Councillor Peter Wilkins as Deputy Mayor and announced the appointment of Councillor Selena Clancy as Assistant Deputy Mayor.
In a statement the Council said: “A Walkley Award winning journalist, Cr Wilkins brings his passion for making a difference to his local community to the role. Cr Clancy is also a respected leader, having served in the Australian Army for more than two decades including a senior position in the Commando Regiment”.
The two roles assist with Mayoral duties in the Mayor’s absence.
Council comprises a Mayor and 12 Councillors – four Councillors representing each of our three wards.
