Swan Hill Rural City Council has announced significant progress in the implementation of its Robinvale Riverfront Masterplan.
Mayor, Stuart King said the ambitious project, initiated in August 2020 and adopted by Council in March 2024, aims to transform the Robinvale Riverfront into a vibrant and accessible community space.
“The Robinvale Riverfront Masterplan is a testament to our commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive community space. These projects will enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors, and we are excited to see them come to life,” said Mayor King.
“The Robinvale Riverfront Masterplan focuses on enhancing key areas such as Centenary Park, Robin Street, and the Robinvale Community Centre, with a range of projects designed to improve community enjoyment and social connection.
“A major highlight is the $2 million Robinvale Nature and Adventure Play project, which will feature a modern play space with numerous play elements, seating, an all-accessible pathway, shade sails, drinking fountains, lighting, and landscaping. The installation of new toilet facilities will also enhance visitor convenience and accessibility.”
Mayor King said four lily pad shade structures were also set to be installed providing much-needed sun protection and creating a more comfortable space for families.
“We’re delighted with how the implementation is rolling out. It is also wonderful to see how much the new Skate Park being utilised by locals and visitors alike,” he said.
