Parramatta to host inaugural Lord Mayor Business Forum

City of Parramatta Council’s first ever Lord Mayor Business Forum event is set to bring together local, interstate and international businesses to showcase local growth and investment opportunities.

The Forum will take place at Parramatta Town Hall on 29 April, with speakers to include John O’Mahony from Deloitte Access Economics and CEO and Co-Founder of Serene Capital, Glen Boultwood, and TV presenter, Melissa Doyle AM (pictured), to MC the event.

Lord Mayor, Martin Zaiter said that with major infrastructure delivered and more on the way, there was no time like the present for smart investors looking to the future.

“The time to invest in Parramatta is now and this forum will provide everyone with the tools on how to break into the Parramatta economy and enjoy a slice of the pie to remain successful for decades to come” Lord Mayor Zaiter said.

“The numbers speak for themselves – with a gross regional product greater than $28.86 billion it makes sense to bring your business to Parramatta.”

“Parramatta is the geographical heart of greater Sydney with more than 450,000 people set to live in our area by 2050.

“We have a wonderful diverse community, rich heritage and culture, that gives us an authentic voice and have worked tirelessly to transform our CBD into a 24-hour economy providing the flexibility for a range of businesses to be successful in a global economy.”

Small business owners, startups and entrepreneurs to government, legal services and researchers are among the list of businesses invited to the Forum.
