Nominations for South Australia’s 2021 Jim Hullick Award are now open.
The Jim Hullick Award recognises a state or federal public sector employee who has worked collaboratively with local government towards better outcomes for SA communities.
It has been named to recognise the partnership work of Jim Hullick (pictured), who served as CEO of the Local Government Association of South Australia (LGA) from 1975 to 1996.
Nominations for the award will close on Friday, 21 January, 2022.
“The LGA actively pursues opportunities for partnerships and collaboration with other tiers of government where these will benefit the South Australian community,” LGA said in a statement.
“The Jim Hullick Award recognises a state or federal public sector employee who has demonstrated genuine collaboration with the local government sector to deliver tangible outcomes for communities.”
It said nominees must have worked with multiple councils across the sector or within a particular region.
Further information including award criteria and nomination forms are available on the LGA website.
