City of Fremantle Council is celebrating the return of Fremantle International Street Arts Festival with the launch of a new walking tour.
The new Behind the Scenes Tour will launch at Easter, offering a highly curated unique experience to the largest street arts festival in Australasia.
After a three-year hiatus, the tour will be an exclusive way to enjoy FISAF in the largest festival on Fremantle’s event calendar, Council said in a statement.
“The tour is hosted by a renowned and award winning tour guide with an insider’s perspective of festival preparations. There will be spontaneous interactions with performers amidst some of Fremantle’s iconic landmarks,” Council said.
“Also included in the tour are insights into the inner workings of this unique event and infamous stories from the festivals history.
“This much sought after and one of a kind experience culminates in a ringside seat to a stunning street theatre performance at one of Fremantle’s newest garden venues accompanied by drinks and refreshments.”
The Behind the Scenes Walking Tour departs from Fremantle Visitor Centre in Walyalup Koort. Tours are scheduled for two departure times over the weekend, 12 noon and 3pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The Behind the Scenes walking tour is only available over the Easter weekend. Tickets are strictly limited. Book at Fremantle Street Arts Festival Tour.
