New pool operator for Banana Shire

Banana Shire Council has announced a new operator for the Biloela and Moura Aquatic Centres, with Splash-A-Bout Swim School Management Company named to take over.

The Council says Splash-A-Bout comes with a wealth of experience, including over 16 years of swimming school management.

“Their management team holds qualifications such as a Bachelor of Sports Science and Australian Swimming Coaches Association Silver level coaching qualifications,” the Council said in a statement.

Managing Director of Splash-A-Bout, Shane Kingston, said, “My team and I are excited to have been offered this opportunity to be a part of the Biloela and Moura communities. Our management style ensures we regularly engage with our customers and the wider community in the delivery of services.

“It is our commitment to support the local community by providing employment opportunities for locals based in both Biloela and Moura. We will be undertaking recruitment prior to the start of the new pool season.”

Mayor, Nev Ferrier said Council was pleased to welcome Splash-A-Bout to the community.

“Their experience and community-focused approach aligns with our vision for the Biloela and Moura Aquatic Centres. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will bring to our residents,” jhe said.

The pool season will commence in September.
