Hornsby Shire Council has a new Deputy Mayor, with Councillor Sallianna McClelland elected at a meeting last night.
Councillor McClelland (pictured) will serve in the role for a period of 12 months, following the conclusion of Councillor Janelle McIntosh’s term.
Councillor McIntosh was thanked for her dedicated service as Deputy Mayor by Mayor, Warren Waddell and Councillor Verity Greenwood.
In a social media post, Councillor McClelland thanked Councillors McIntosh and Greenwood for the nomination.
“We have a team that is invested in the future of Hornsby, each bringing to the table unique skills, views and passions,” she wrote.
“We have staff who equal that investment and together we do work to improve the home we all live in.”
