The Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council has announced the appointment of Emma Bradbury as the organisation’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Bradbury (pictured) has been acting in the role of Chief Executive Officer since late July, when former CEO, Michael Bissell, finalised his employment contract with the Council.
Ms Bradbury has previously held Chief Executive Officer roles in Napranum Aboriginal Shire Council, Barkly Regional Council (NT), and the Murray Darling Local Government Association.Â
“The Council looks forward to working with Emma in a permanent capacity as we create and define a strong and sustainable future for our Palm Island community,” said Mayor, Alf Lacey.
