Anne Howard has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Darebin City Council.
Mayor, Kristine Olaris OAM said she was delighted to welcome Ms Howard as the organisation’s new CEO, saying she brings a wealth of experience in senior executive roles, most recently as CEO of Colac Otway Shire.
“Anne’s experience spans infrastructure management, governance, finance, corporate planning and community planning across a number of councils, which we know are vitally important issues for the Darebin community,” Mayor Olaris said.
“Anne is known for her professional yet approachable leadership style. She is dedicated to driving positive change and development, leveraging her extensive experience to benefit the communities she serves. Her commitment to excellence and her proactive approach makes her a respected and valued leader in her field.”
Ms Howard will join the Council in July. Michael Tudball will continue as Interim CEO until that time.
