Loddon Mallee makes its online debut

A new website showcasing the economic strengths and innovative opportunities of Victoria’s Loddon Mallee region has been launched.

The INVEST Loddon Mallee site was created by the 10 Local Government Areas that make up Victoria’s Loddon Mallee region.

City of Greater Bendigo Council has described the new website as an investment attraction resource targeting both public and private investors.

It’s for businesses and entrepreneurs interested in relocating or contributing to extensive supply chain opportunities, and it also highlights the unique attributes and competitive advantages of the region, the Council said in a statement.

The website features regional industries, locations and investment opportunities, and showcases some of the innovative businesses already thriving in the region, while highlighting projects seeking investment.

City of Greater Bendigo CEO, Craig Niemann welcomed the new virtual resource.

“We know this is a great region to do business. Having a one stop shop that delivers economic information about each local government area, that demonstrates businesses working in the different industries as well as offer reports that give valuable economic strength to any proposal. We look forward to continuing to contribute to make this site a valuable tool for all in business,” Mr Niemann said.

“We are very fortunate to have ambitious and successful businesses in the City of Greater Bendigo. The ever-expanding and animal-focused Apiam Animal Health, the futuristic and technology-based Clear Dynamics and the powerhouse of gold mining, Fosterville Mine, all feature as success stories as part of INVEST Loddon Mallee.”

He said INVEST Loddon Mallee welcomes innovation and offers local support to new businesses looking to be located in the region. It also provides access to relevant strategic reports and regional prospectus documents highlighting strategic investments that are of interest to public and private investors.
