Lithgow City Council has welcomed its latest round of apprentices and trainees who have this month joined the Council workforce.
Mayor, Maree Statham said eight enthusiastic apprentices and trainees had joined the Lithgow Council ranks from a variety of backgrounds.
“Employing apprentices and trainees allows Council to invest in our youth by providing growth opportunities to build a career and develop skills and knowledge,” she said.
“Once the trainees and apprentices complete their training, they will be fully qualified and have rewarding careers ahead. Council wishes them every success in the future.
“It is fantastic to see young passionate people joining Lithgow City Council staff. We wish you all the best throughout your careers and can’t wait to see what you all achieve.”
