Georges River Council is inviting tenders to provide catering and hospitality services at its premium venue, Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
Council says the catering contractor will need to provide catering operations at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium both on major events and non-event days. This includes corporate offerings and public retail outlets for major events, and to continue to grow the Bayview Functions and Events business in conjunction with the stadium operator.
Most famous for National Rugby League (NRL), the stadium is the home ground of the St George-Illawarra Dragons.
Since 2018, the stadium has been the home ground for the A-Leagues Sydney Football Club (Sydney FC), featuring both men’s and women’s fixtures. In August 2022, the first ever Australian Football League (AFL) match was played at the stadium, with the view to expand into the football code.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for to provide high quality catering and hospitality for this busy premium venue,” said Mayor Nick Katris.
“Netstrata Jubilee Stadium hosts many sporting, corporate and private events throughout the year and an experienced contractor will find it professionally rewarding.”
Tender information and documents (T23/004 – Netstrata Jubilee Stadium Catering and Hospitality services) are available on The Vendor Panel website. Submissions opened on 18 May and are due by 10am on Thursday 8 June 2023.
