Campbelltown City Council CEO, Paul Di Iulio, has been inducted as a new Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) Emeritus Member.
Emeritus membership is a significant honour, as the highest grade of membership that can be bestowed on a member.
To be considered eligible, the member must have first attained the grade of Fellow and have served the community for at least 20 years in relation to the delivery of public works and services.
The member must have made a major contribution to the Institute for a minimum of 10 years and the contributions must be outstanding in character and well recognised by both the membership and the community generally.
“Mr Di Iulio’s decades of dedicated service and leadership in public works has left an enduring legacy, inspiring future generations of professionals in the field,” the Council said in a statement.
