Charters Towers Regional Council Chief Executive Officer, Aaron Johansson, has announced his resignation from the role.
In an online statement, Mr Johansson (pictured) said: “It is with mixed emotions, I have decided to resign from my role as Chief Executive Officer of Charters Towers Regional Council.”
“I would like to thanks all Elected Members who I have served with over the past four and a half years.
“Together will all employees both past and present, thank you for your contributions in positively transforming our organisation into what it is today.”
Mr Johansson has held the Charter Towers CEO role since 2017. Prior to joining the Council, he was the Director of Corporate Governance and Financial Services at Isaac Regional Council.
