Central Coast businesses invited to explore collaboration opportunities

Tasmania’s Central Coast Council is inviting local businesses, contractors, industry representatives and entrepreneurs to attend an upcoming Business & Industry Forum focused on how collaboration can help businesses grow, build capacity and unlock new opportunities.

The forum, titled Collaboration – How Working Together Can Benefit Businesses, will be held on Thursday 11 June from 5:30pm to 8pm at The Gnomon Room, 1 Wharf Road, Ulverstone.

The evening will bring together industry leaders, business advisers and local organisations to explore practical ways businesses can work together to strengthen capability, access larger opportunities and keep economic activity within the region.

Facilitated by experienced business adviser Warren Moore, the forum will feature presentations and panel discussions with representatives from Hazell Bros, Fairbrother and the UTAS Tasmanian Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub. Topics will include partnership opportunities, subcontracting relationships, collaboration structures, risk management and building trust between businesses.

The event will also include networking opportunities over supper and an interactive workshop designed to help businesses identify potential collaboration opportunities and practical next steps.

Council says the free forum is intended for:

  • Small and medium businesses
  • Contractors and subcontractors
  • Industry and manufacturing businesses
  • Business owners looking to grow capacity or capability
  • Entrepreneurs interested in partnership opportunities
  • Organisations wanting to strengthen local connections
