Camden to host first ever Volunteer Expo

NSW

Camden Council is partnering with AGL to host its first ever Volunteer Expo.

This free program will provide local organisations with a chance to highlight their community impact, while also serving as an informational hub for prospective volunteers looking to contribute to the Camden Local Government Area.

The event will be hosted at Julia Reserve Youth and Community Centre, Oran Park, on Saturday 18 May, from 10am – 2pm.

Attendees can expect:
– A range of talks and interviews with prominent local organisations
– Network with local groups about a range of local Volunteering opportunities
– FREE Kids face painting
– Lions Club BBQ and complimentary beverages

“We are so delighted to bring this opportunity to Camden, there is something for everyone, whether it be building a portfolio or wanting to give back to the community,” said Mayor, Ashleigh Cagney.

“There is no need to travel far to explore the amazing opportunities of the area.”
