City of Sydney Council is calling for young people to take part in training and experience in youth work, community development and events.
The program is available to participants aged 18 to 25 who live, work or study in the City of Sydney local area.
Fifteen successful participants will have an opportunity to work towards a Certificate IV in Community Services or Certificate III in Events while gaining skills and hands on experience that will enable them to work on Youth Week 2022 for the City of Sydney in a paid capacity, Council said in an online statement.
Participants will also have access to mentors during the program.
Applications close 5pm on 30 August 2021.
This project is run by the City of Sydney, Y-Lab and an accredited training organisation.
