Baw Baw Shire Council has advised its Chief Executive Officer, Tilla Buden, will be taking leave for the foreseeable future as she undergoes treatment and recovery following a recent breast cancer diagnosis.
“Council fully supports Ms Buden as she focuses on her health and wellbeing during this time,” the Council said in a statement.
“Acting CEO arrangements will be confirmed and communicated shortly.”
Ms Buden (pictured) was appointed to the CEO role in September. She has previously held executive roles at Bayside City Council, City of Greater Dandenong and Yarra Ranges Council.
