Alice Springs Town Council is inviting residents to have their say in a new community survey designed to better understand local views on Council’s services, facilities, communication, events and overall community experience.
The survey aims to capture how residents feel about life in Alice Springs and identify areas where Council can continue to improve and focus its efforts. Feedback will directly inform Council’s planning and service advocacy priorities over the coming year.
Council CEO, Andrew Wilsmore said the survey is an important opportunity for the community to guide future decisions.
“We want to make sure that Council’s work reflects the needs and aspirations of the people who live here,” Mr Wilsmore said.
“This survey gives everyone in Alice Springs the chance to share their views on what’s working well, and where we can do better. Whether it’s our facilities, community programs, events or how we communicate – every response helps shape the direction we take as an organisation.”
Mr Wilsmore encouraged all residents to take a few minutes to complete the survey and help Council plan for the town’s future.
“Alice Springs Town Council is here to work Together for Alice, and we can only do that effectively if we listen,” he said.
“Your feedback helps us prioritise what matters most and ensure that we continue building a vibrant, connected and sustainable Alice Springs.”
The survey can be completed online via the Council’s website at https://www.alicesprings.nt.gov.au/consultations/community-engagement/community-feedback-survey.
Hard copies are also available at the Civic Centre and Alice Springs Public Library. The survey will close at 5pm on Monday 24 November.
