Councillors and CEOs have until 5pm on Monday 9 December to get their nominations in for the 12 positions on the RCV Committee for 2025-2028.
RCV has six rural regions and each of them require a CEO and a Councillor representative. Elections will be conducted if more than one candidate has nominated for a position of CEO or Councillor in a region.
The RCV Rules of Incorporation sets out the timing for the conduct of elections. Based on this timing, the RCV Committee determined the following dates for the conduct of elections for the 2025-2028 RCV Committee:
Nominations opened via email to member CEOs: Fri 29 November
Nominations close: Monday 9 December, 5pm
Elections conducted (in regions where required): 10 – 20 December
Nominees notified: Monday 23 December 2024
First Committee meeting to be held by the end of January 2025
