Councillor Fiona Stitfold was elected 2023-24 Mayor of Bayside at last evening’s Annual Meeting of Council.
Having served on Council since 2020, Councillor Stitfold said she hopes to continue achieving improvements in sustainability, health, community strength and resilience to climate change.
“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to serve as Mayor of our wonderful community,” she said.
“I’m excited about leading this Council and am firmly committed to working collaboratively with my fellow Councillors to ensure we deliver positive outcomes for our residents.”
Councillor Alex del Porto was elected as Deputy Mayor and Councillor Hanna El Mouallem as Chair of the Planning and Amenity Delegated Committee for 2022-23.
