Katherine Town Council’s newly elected Mayor, Joanna Holden, and Councillors Kathryn Whitehouse, Jim King, Mel Doyle, Toni Tapp Coutts, Kathy Glass and Anjali Palmer have been formally sworn in.
Acting CEO, Casey Anderson said the swearing-in ceremony was an important milestone for the Katherine community.
“On behalf of the Katherine Town Council, I congratulate the Mayor and incoming Council. This is a great opportunity to build on the work of previous Councils while bringing fresh perspectives to the table,” Ms Anderson said.
“Our Council team looks forward to supporting the newly elected members.”
