Ross Macdonald has been elected to Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council, following the resignation of Councillor Jacqueline Ternouth in December.
The NSW Electoral Commission held a countback last week, declaring Mr Macdonald elected.
Mr Macdonald (pictured) is a Wamboin resident who works in the not-for-profit sector and has previously worked in the Australian Public Service and as a ministerial adviser.
