The Northern Territory’s newly formed Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) has been formally sworn in.
The inauguration marks the fifth Council of CDRC, featuring Michaeline Gallagher, Paul Briscoe, April Martin, Jacob Spencer, Andrew Johnson, Cyril Tasman, Adrian Dixon, David McCormack, Jeff Iversen, Clifford Tilmouth, and Rosslyn Campbell, with one seat still vacant. A by-election in late November will fill this position.
Adrian Dixon was reaffirmed as President, while the Deputy President role is taken up by Paul Briscoe.
In a statement, the Council said it was eager to continue supporting the Central Desert communities.
The Councillors are pictured with CEO, Ilario Sabatino and Member for Gwoja, Chansey Paech.
