Murrumbidgee Council is set to host two events as part of NSW Small Business Month for 2023 on the topics of cyber security and stress management.
The first event is a free workshop for business based on cyber security on Wednesday 11 October.
Livio Mazzon from Veritech Corporation – Murrumbidgee Council’s own IT consultant – will run the workshop, providing small businesses with the knowledge and resources to ensure your business is running cyber safely.
This event will be delivered face-to-face for businesses at Darlington Point Council Chambers, with an option for Jerilderie businesses to view from the Jerilderie Council Chambers.

The second free workshop for business owners and their staff is around stress management on Wednesday 18 October at Jerilderie Council Chambers. Presented by Aimée Makeham, Coordinator with the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP), the workshop will provide information and insight into business-related stress, strategies to manage stress and ways to take action.
Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how business stress impacts people and their community and where to find support. Light lunch will be provided. A free 5-minute neck and shoulder massage will be available for attendees.
