Work is set to get underway today on the Bundacree Creek Bridge replacement on Minimbah Road, Minimbah, MidCoast Council has announced.
A single lane bypass road and bridge will be constructed next to the existing bridge as a detour during the construction stage.
There will also be traffic control measures in place and motorists can expect to experience minor delays, the Council said.
The ageing timber bridge will be replaced with a two lane multi cell box culvert with road approaches also upgraded.
The replacement work is expected to be completed by April, weather permitting. The project is being fully funded by Council.
