Griffith Regional Theatre will host the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow on Friday 12 June, delivering an evening of world-class comedy direct from Australia’s premier comedy festival.
Audiences can expect a night of laughter as the Roadshow rolls into town with an impressive line-up of comedic talent.
“Hosted by Triple J Breakfast’s Luka Muller and his laid-back charm, the show features the remarkable Gillian Cosgriff and her award-winning musical comedy, Harry Jun’s viral, fast-rising energy, Dan Rath’s critically acclaimed sharp wit, and Bronwyn Kuss’s brilliantly dry storytelling, each act a headliner in their own right,” Griffith City Council said in a statement announcing the event.
“Now in its third decade of touring, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow has become one of the country’s most anticipated live events, bringing its signature blend of humour to communities far and wide.
“Delivering ‘hot and tasty comic treats’ to audiences across Australia, the Roadshow guarantees a high-energy, side-splitting showcase with
something for every comedy fan.
“Griffith audiences are invited to experience the magic of Australia’s largest comedy festival without leaving town. Whether you’re a long-time comedy lover or simply looking for a fun night out, this one-night-only performance promises big laughs and good times.”
Theatre members are also invited to enjoy a special pre-show function, with RSVPs available through the Box Office until Monday 8 June.
Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office, by calling 6962 8444 or visiting www.griffithregionaltheatre.com.au.
